System description priint:suite - Solution for Efficient Product Communication
Today, combining digital and print publications is a prerequisite for telling a consistent story across all channels. The ability to automate publishing processes is possible with the priint:suite. Companies can integrate a wide variety of data sources such as PIM, MDM, CRM as well as marketing automation systems to make the data usable for any type of publishing project in our plug-ins for Adobe® InDesign®, InDesign Server and Illustrator®, among others.
Thanks to this integration and the flexibility of the priint:suite, the same possibilities that are indispensable in digital communication today are also available for classic publications. The modular design and full scalability of the priint:suite enable cost-effective and successful automation of publishing processes for companies of all sizes.
To date, more than 500 customers and 100 partners rely on the priint:suite for their automated publishing needs.
Initial installation: 2005 brought the creation of the first priint:comet InDesign plug-ins ;the first components of the priint:suite were implemented at the first customers.

Additional informations on media channels
The priint:suite serves all media channels through media-independent output. Due to the deep integration with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, it mainly supports the creation of the following touchpoints: Catalogs, leaflets, technical data sheets, direct mailings, packaging, labels, magalogs, flip catalogs, brochures, product documentation, package inserts, parcel inserts, installation instructions, operating instructions, and many more. Whether the marketing collateral is physically printed or used digitally, (e.g. as a flip page catalog or as a PDF), is irrelevant for the priint:suite.

The leading integrated database publishing and automation solution for Adobe® InDesign® to increase efficiency for all types of publications: free-form mail order pages, leaflets, datasheets, fully automated industrial catalogs, and more.
Standalone applicable
priint:comet Illustrator plug-in: Ideal for automated packaging, labels and diagrams and generation / updating of diagrams and technical illustrations.
The frames created in Illustrator are linked with priint:comet placeholders. This allows any data from content systems to be linked and updated with a single click. Manual, error-prone, content corrections are essentially eliminated.
The priint:suite Core License Set is the basis of all priint:suite solutions.
This server can be used as a stand-alone server for a single seat solution / small creative team working with InDesign / Illustrator and the optional priint:comet desktop plug-ins, or combined with our Collaborative Server.
priint:suite Workgroup - The priint:suite Workgroup license set offers all components for collaboration and management of publications.
priint:suite Workgroup offers web applications for collaborative work along the entire publishing process and across different departments and external service providers.
priint:suite Server Rendering The priint:suite Rendering Servers offers a variety of possibilities to relieve the user from routine work and save time.
Many routine tasks can be automated on the server side. The Adobe® InDesign® Server and the comet pdf-renderer are supported as rendering servers.
