POS also includes points of sale such as shops, branches or pop-up stores (temporary sales areas), showrooms and experience worlds as well as promotional stands at locations outside the POS where products and services are sold.
In online marketing, point of sale refers to online shops where companies use banner adverts and product videos to generate interest.
