Colour channel

Each colour portion in an image file or document can be defined as a separate colour channel.

Superstructure

A CMYK file consists of the four colour channels cyan, magenta, yellow and black, a RGB file consists of the three color channels red, green and blue. Each color channel can be edited independently of the others.
