Colour management system

Software that ensures at the operating system level or within application programs that color rendering is performed and can be controlled correctly by conversions using colour profiles.

Conversion to output colour spaces

The colour data is defined in a device-independent colour space (e.g. CIELAB colour space) and converted into device-dependent colour spaces (e.g. RGB, CMYK).
