Computer-to-Plate
Within digital sheet assembly, printed pages are assembled into a printing form and output directly from the computer to a printing plate imagesetter. The previously necessary creation of films and the plate copy are no longer necessary.

If the printing plate production step is omitted, we use the terms Computer-to-Press and Computer-to-Print processes or digital printing.
