Personalisation
Creation of products or documents with changing content or page elements. Personalisation is also applied within dynamic publishing or database publishing , when the variable data are routed from databases.
Variable contents for printed and digital communication
In the print field digital printing machines with variable imaging are used for personalisation, where each page can have individual contents. In the simplest case, names of recipients are exchanged for an individual shipping action.
In direct marketing, e.g. variable elements are used for e-mail newsletters. Therefore personalised documents are created by linking templates with structured data (e.g. XML, CSV, image data).
