RGB

= Red-Green-Blue. The RGB colour space is used by devices that generate their colours from light beams and add up to white when projecting onto each other (scanners, digital cameras, monitors, beamers). One speaks also of additive colour mixing.

Conversion for printing

For printing, the RGB data must be converted to CMYK during the production process. This results in colour changes that can be controlled with the help of colour management.
