Bounce rate
The bounce rate describes a key figure from the area of web analysis and online marketing. The bounce rate, also known as the abort rate, is the percentage of visitors to an individual web page who call it up and then leave it without performing any further actions.
Influencing factors
The bounce rate provides information about the quality of a website in terms of factors such as loading time, advertising, content or usability. For website operators, a high bounce rate can therefore be an indication of the need for optimisation with regard to the factors mentioned.
In addition, the bounce rate can be used as a checking key figure for newsletter.
