Direct marketing (also dialogue marketing) is about establishing direct communication between companies and (potential) customers by personalisation.
Direct customer contact
The aim is to steer against an anonymous, general sales contact and to reach customers on a personal, individual level by addressing them directly by name, for example by means of a e-mail newsletter. Forms of direct marketing include e-mail marketing or telemarketing.
