Editorial system
Web-based system on the basis on a content management system (CMS) for cooperative creation of publications and documents. Editorial systems distinguish a document-based method of working, in which several users can work at the same time on a publication or the same pages. Additional characteristics include sheet planning functions, versioning and workflow management as well as user management with differentiated rights assignment.
Cross media Output
Editorial systems are pioneers when it comes to the cross-media output of publications, as this requirement was placed on publishing products and technical documentation early on. Based on a central, media-neutral database (e.g. XML-based), media channels for print, websites, e-books, apps or social media can be controlled.
