iBeacon

Navigation method between one app and a radio chip based on bluetooth radio transmission technology. In close proximity of a few meters, the connection between a mobile device app and stationary radio chips is established, which can send signals at regular intervals and determine the location of the mobile device.

Applications

Applications include, for example, information about potential customers from discount campaigns in the trade, visitor information in public institutions, e.g. museums or from mobile Payment.
