Mobile marketing

Mobile marketing is a part of online marketing and describes the marketing measures using mobile devices.


Characteristic for mobile marketing is the alignment and processing of advertising messages and campaigns on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablet PCs. Due to the smaller display sizes, the content must be reduced to the most essential and relevant for sales. Also the adaptation and optimisation of usability plays a role in mobile marketing.

Due to the different way content is displayed on desktops and mobile devices, a responsive display (responsive webdesign) should be used when creating and maintaining mobile websites.
