The term stakeholder refers to all interest groups that are affected by corporate actions.

Internal and external stakeholders

Stakeholders are divided into two groups. External stakeholders include employees, managers and owners. The internal stakeholders are suppliers, society, the state, creditors and customers of a company.

Just like shareholder, stakeholders have an influence on the economic activities of a company.
