The web CMS software market is shared between standard systems and open source solutions, whose well-known representatives are Typo3, Wordpress or Contao. The performance ranges from simple free offerings to enterprise solutions, so a clear positioning is required.

Web CMSs can be components within standard systems for digital marketing or PIM (Product Information Management) as self-developed modules to provide integrated solutions. In other constellations, Web CMSs are connected by means of interfaces.
